the world cup is over and finally everyone's getting sufficient sleep! haha...but i think i might just be suffering from football withdrawal symptons due to lack of soccer matches (ie. WC, EPL , La Liga).
heehee...anyway, all the teachers this week are like: " here is my timetable, please mark on it when you are free for your remedials."
G-R-E-A-T!
first there's MC period every alternate week, then the chem organic test every week and now weekly econs essays discussion periods???
omg.
there's going to be so many revision stuff to do and i think i am going to die! sigh. last lap already, must sprint!!!
heh. cheating myself. like i will do it right?
i think i'm more of the panick-like-hell-just-before-prelims and die-during-a-levels kind of students.
yay. time to celebrate the day you lost liwen.
and not to forget, the grad nite location and theme is finalised and i dont think my opinion was asked for in the planning process at all! see???
that's why nj is such a flop one. never ask for opinions from the student body.
anyway, in the car today...
ME: eh, daddy, the prom nite is at the stamford swisshotel...no, the swisshotel stamford...no, the swiss stamford hotel...AIYAH WADEVER LARH!!!
DAD: wah, not bad what, very high class leh.
ME: really meh? ( den i started to tell him the complaints my class girls had abt the venue)
DAD: but hor, it's 6-star hotel leh! very good wad!
ME: O.o!!! not five????!!! but nevermind, i'm going to get a prom dress that's $100 and above, have my hair and makeup at some salon, trim my eyebrows, go manicure and pedicure, buy nice nice heels and a new handbag. (and i grinned super wide)
DAD: O.o!!!

i am anti-social.
when everybody is out basking in the sun, enjoying their half-days shopping, singing or playing, here i am sitting in front of my computer ranting to no body in sight.
strangely, i am not depressed, lonely and nor do i feel unhappy about my situation right now.
this peace is calming.
though i am singing to myself while playing sudoku on my com. and it's interferring with my thoughts.
oh well, any kind soul out dere? buy me a jodi picoult book?
i shall promise to love you to pieces.
really? i'll shred you to bits if you dont.
this is not a threat.
this is a command.
okay, i am pms-ing.
sweet!
okay, i'll just go dl more songs and continue singing to pingu. at least he appreciates it.
huh? how come i know?
he told me what.
huh?
pingu's a she???
nah, you must be kidding.
really?
dont bluff.
okay, i'll go online check it out.
but pingu's so cute rite?
so is fernado torres.

on soccernet.espn...
found an article about C. ronaldo:
... could be forgiven for thinking that the criminals and the corrupt are getting a better reception right now, but Cristiano Ronaldo serves as a barometer for opinion on Portugal at the moment.
He's not a pariah, he's a very gifted boy. There are plenty who use 'winker' as a euphemism, hold him solely responsible for Wayne Rooney's red card and profess themselves outraged at his attempts to procure a penalty.
Then there is another school of thought - to which this observer subscribes - of those who regard him as one of the finest wingers in the World Cup and admire his nerveless penalty-taking.
And Ronaldo, widely vilified, has become a microcosm of Portugal.
i have to admit that all this criticism about him is getting to me. it is depressing that everyone hates him when we cannot deny that he is an excellent player and his best is yet to be.
i tell you, in a few years time, he IS going to be one of the finest footballer in the world, and his name will among those of Pele, Beckham, Zidane and Co.
I know he tends to dive quite a lot, we must not forget that he is still young and so, GIVE HIM TIME! there's still many more things for him to learn, and i believe with a good coach, he will become an outstanding player.
to all you people out there who claims that he's a crybaby..
#@$%#@$#$%^%!@(^%$#@#!!
you people are just ignorant selfish suckling pigs!
cant you be more sensitive? must you destroy this young lad's dream?
you think it's everyday that anyone can play all the way to the semi-finals of the world cup?
Fans cry when the teams they support lose. Players cry when they lose very important matches. Do you know how it feels when the trophy is just at your fingertips but you just couldnt reach it?
It is perfectly fine to cry on national television, even Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampardm, Steven Gerrard does it! i dun see you people make a laughing stock out of them! so why attack him?
i do not care whether he had or had not asked for a red card, that's not for us to judge. what's done is done. just go on with your life! if you are so unhappy, go be a referee!
if not, just shut up.

school is going to restart after the long weekend break tomorrow... and i am so not looking forward to it.
soccer is a wonderful sport, and i have been watching EPL matches with my brother and dad from young. perhaps this is why i have a passion for soccer. =)
people say basketball is more interesting because it is faster and more cool. tennis is nice because it's a test of your stamina and physical strength. badminton place emphasis on agility and speed. Table tennis is about precision.
SOCCER? it's about playing a beautiful game(*joga bonito).
it is about team work.
it is about playing your part no matter what position you play (ie. defender, striker etc.)
it is about putting a ball into a net.
it's about strategy.
it's about the shin guards, boots and jersey.
it's about penalties.
it's about free kicks.
it's about the offside rule (which i bet many of you still dont understand)
it's about all the injuries and recoveries.
it's about the fans.
it's about entertainment i derive from it.
i love football.
and i am going to watch the portugal match at 3am on thur morning and NO ONE is going to stop me.
similarly, NO ONE IS GOING TO STOP PORTUGAL TOO!!!

so here is what it says on http://soccernet.espn.go.com
...Ronaldo has brushed aside suggestions he will leave Old Trafford this summer, despite reports that he is keen to join Real Madrid.
'There have been comments published in which I reportedly said that I didn't want to go back to Manchester United,' he said.
'That is completely false, of course I want to go back. It's just typical of the English press but I don't lose any sleep.'
After the game had finished goalless after extra time, Ronaldo scored the winning penalty which sent Portugal through to a semi-final meeting with France.
'When the decision was going to be taken on who will take the penalties, I asked Scolari if I could take the last one,' Ronaldo said. 'I like to take penalties and to score them.
'Why did I ask to be last? Because I like to take responsibility and because I had a strong feeling that I was going to be the one to resolve the game.'
i really pray that he'll stay in OT...cause's that's the only time i can watch him play football on a regular basis...
PLEASE dont join Real??? please???
